Alitalia to equip its flight personnel with Motorola Xoom 2 tablets

Alitalia flights being operated to European and other international destinations will soon see its flight personnel equipped with Motorola Zoom 2 tablets for better communication.

Alitalia recently announced it will be equipping its flight personnel with Motorola Xoom 2 tablets, which will hold all the relevant information on its premium customers.

The information to be stored in the tablets includes profile of each passenger, onboard menu preferences, seating and travel history. Apart from this important information, the tablets will also contain the inconveniences experienced by the passengers in the past.

The tablets are being provided to the airline’s flight personnel as they will find it useful in identifying all the high value passengers and be able to customize the service according to their requirements.

Through the tablets, the airline’s staff will be receiving updated information in real-time, which will help them in performing all operations onboard their flights without printing or carrying any relevant documents.
