New Alitalia flights on four new routes from Rome soon

Italy’s national flag carrier Alitalia recently announced it would be launching flights services to four new intercontinental and international destinations.

The airline in a statement said that Alitalia flights to four new destinations – Abu Dhabi, Fortaleza, Yerevan and Prague – are part of the strategy to boost the international and intercontinental flight network.

The airline stated that the customers can book Alitalia flights tickets on these new routes, which are already up for sale.

Alitalia indicated that it will start operating its flights to Abu Dhabi from December 1, 2012. The airline will deploy its new Airbus A330 aircraft configured with three new classes – Economy Class (Classica), Premium Economy (Classica Plus) and Business Class (Magnifica) – to operate flights between Abu Dhabi and Rome. The flights on the route would be operated four times every week.

According to the airline, flights between Rome and Yerevan will begin from December 11, 2012 with two weekly flights on Tuesday and Friday.
