Avianca to welcome 100th Airbus aircraft to its fleet
Travelers from Latin America should brace to see more Avianca flights as the airline readies to welcome the 100th Airbus in its fleet.
The airline would be taking the delivery of the Airbus A330 aircraft at the aircraft maker’s manufacturing plant in Toulouse in France.
The 100th Airbus to be included in AviancaTaca fleet is A330-200 model aircraft, which has a capacity to hold a total of 252 passengers – 30 seats in Business Class and 222 seats in Economy Class.
The airline in a statement said that the Airbus A330-200 aircraft is capable of conducting flight operations on both short haul and long haul routes.
The Airbus A330-200 aircraft is the ninth in its category to be included in the AviancaTaca fleet. The aircraft has superb fuel efficiency and exceptional operational reliability.
Fabio Villegas, CEO of AviancaTaca, said that the new aircraft will help the airline to significantly increase its capacity, boost frequency, and help in improved customer service.
