British Airways to increase frequency on Mexico City route
British Airways has decided to increase frequency on its Mexico route. Beginning October 27, 2013 the airline will offer four flights per week between London Heathrow and Mexico City. The additional flight will cater to heavy passenger demand on the route through this winter season.
The current flight will continue its operations departing London every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday at 1240 hours and arriving in Mexico City at 1820 hours. The new flight will however, depart London on Sundays at 1240 hours and arrive in Mexico City at 1830 hours approximately. The return flight will depart Mexico City each Monday, Wednesday, Friday, and Sunday at 2100 hours and arrive in London at 1300 hours, the next day. Passengers can now book British Airways tickets to fly between the two cities four times a week.
British Airways considers Mexico City as a profitable destination and the addition of a flight to the regular route reiterates its stand. The airline is a premier carrier of the United Kingdom and serves important domestic and international destinations across continents.
