China Airlines adding flights to Japan

China Airlines recently announced that it will be adding three new destinations to Japan effective March 25, 2012. The destinations include Kagoshima, Shizuoka and Toyama.

The airline is taking this move following a landmark open-sky agreement between Taiwan and Japan.

Besides, scheduled China Airlines flights to Tokyo, Osaka, Fukuoka and Nagoya will also be added in order to meet high demand from travelers.

China Airlines in a statement said that it will be launching Taipei-Kagoshima and Taipei-Shizuoka routes from March 25. 

The passengers will now be able to make China Airlines flight reservations on both these routes, with flights being operated on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Sundays every week.

The airline will deploy a Boeing 737-800 aircraft on both these routes. The aircraft will be configured with 8 Business Class seats and 150 Economy Class seats.

China Airlines also disclosed that it will be launching Taipei-Toyama route effective April 16, 2012. The airline will deploy a Boeing 737-800 aircraft on this route, and will operate the flights on Mondays and Fridays every week.
