China Airlines Kagoshima and Shizuoka flights launched

Taiwan’s leading carrier China Airlines recently launched its flights to Kagoshima and Shizuoka from Taoyuan.

According to the airline, China Airlines flights on both these routes – Taoyuan-Kagoshima and Taoyuan-Shizuoka will be operated every Tuesday, Thursday and Sunday.

The airline will deploy Boeing 737-800 aircrafts configured with 8 Business Class seats and 150 Economy Class seats on both these routes.

Earlier, Kagoshima and Shizuoka were served with non-scheduled flights by China Airlines. With the launch of new scheduled service on both these routes, close business and tourism ties between Taiwan and Japan is expected.

China Airlines will also be launching new flights between Taoyuan and Toyama from April 16, 2012. With the introduction of the new route, the airline will be expanding its Japan service to 119 weekly roundtrip flights.

The introduction of Taoyuan-Kagoshima flights now offers travelers more flexibility with their itineraries as the airline presently boasts a triangular network in Kyushu connecting Kagoshima, Miyazaki and Fukuoka.
