China Eastern Airlines becomes first domestic carrier to offer ticket booking via mobile phone

It will now become easy to book China Eastern Airlines flights tickets for its customers traveling within China.

China Eastern Airlines has recently unveiled mobile app for ticketing and boarding. The airline in a statement said that it has become the first domestic carrier in China to offer sale and booking of tickets on China Eastern Airlines flights via mobile phone.

The airline also said that with the help of this newly- unveiled app its customers would be able to board their flights by showing the tickets on their mobile phones.

According to China Eastern Airlines, the mobile app is bilingual and can be downloaded by the customers on to their smart phones.

Whenever the customers buy air tickets using the app, they will be receiving a two-dimensional code on their phones, which would serve as boarding pass.

The airline’s flight crew will also be equipped with another app, which will help them to check the customers’ name, phone numbers and their food preferences.
