Cheap Tickets to Vancouver

Vancouver is undoubtedly beautiful. Located in British Columbia, Vancouver is a hotbed of activity all through the year. Travelers visit the city especially to witness and participate in a number of winter sports that the city plays host to each year. The city is greatly accessible from most parts of the world with multiple airlines offering year-round cheap flights as well as business class flights to Vancouver. The city is captivating in many ways. In fact, it is the most multicultural city in the world. Thirty five percent of its inhabitants are born abroad, making it even more multicultural than New York!

The gorgeous Canadian city has many natural and man-made attractions. However, the most popular names listed on Vancouver City Guide include Stanley Park, Capilano Suspension Bridge, Vancouver Aquarium, Vancouver Art Gallery, Science World at TELUS World of Science, Playland, Canadian Rockies, BC Place, Rogers Arena, Canada Place, VanDusen Botanical Garden, Lions Gate Bridge, and Orpheum. Vancouver Aquarium is officially called Vancouver Aquarium Marine Science Center. It is a popular tourist attraction and apart from that also serves as a center for marine research, marine animal rehabilitation, and conservation. Total number of 70, 000 marine animals are housed here and these belong to over 6, 000 different species.

The best time to visit the lovely city is between the months of March and May and from September through November. Summer is the most popular time when travelers hit its streets. Winters attract travelers who are in love with winter sports. Through the influx of travelers is high during the winter months, the city is always abuzz with activity throughout the year. Depending on how you wish to spend your time here, travelers should plan their itineraries.

The city is fascinated with food. It reflects in the fact that Vancouverites dine out more often than any people from any other North American city do. Some of the best dining places here include Bishop's, Blue Water Cafe + Raw Bar, L'Abattoir Restaurant, Five Sails Restaurant, Vij's Restaurant, Buck Stop, The Oakwood Canadian Bistro, Kingyo, Cactus Club Cafe, Salmon n' Bannock, Joe Fortes Seafood & Chop House, Rodney's Oyster House, Glowbal Grill & Satay Bar, and Breka Bakery and Cafe. Vij's Restaurant is a popular destination for Indian cuisine. Some of its famous dishes include Eggplant in garlic curry and thick yogurt, Mutton Kebobs prepared in Bengali fashion curry, and Jackfruit prepared in cumin curry and black cardamom.

The city shares a strong air network with the rest of the world. It is well connected to destinations within and outside Canada through different airlines that operate service. Carriers like Air Canada, British Airways, and KLM provide flights to London. Cathay Pacific, Alaska Airlines, and China Eastern offer flights to Beijing. Qantas and Air New Zealand fly between the city and Sydney. Likewise, United Airlines, US Airways, and Delta Air Lines provide flights to New York and other parts of the United States.

The city has several accommodation options for different kinds of travelers. Seymour Avenue, East Hastings Avenue, West Georgia Street, Robson Street, Granville Street, Nelson Street, Kingsway, Gilford Street, Hamilton Street, and Burrard Street are some of the neighborhoods that offer cheap hotels in Vancouver. However, there is no dearth of mid range and luxury hotels in the city either.
