Finnair introduces automatic check-in for customers

From now onwards, customers booking Finnair flights would be offered more facilities by the airline for their convenient travel.
 
The airline recently introduced automatic check-in service for its customers buying Finnair flights tickets. The service was implemented on November 28, 2012.

According to Finnair, the customers would be able check in automatically. The customers using this automated service would be sent boarding passes by the airline on their mobile phones. The check-in confirmation would include the seat number as well as a link to the mobile boarding pass.

The airline in a statement said that the automatic check-in service would be available only to those customers who have provided their mobile telephone numbers when booking the tickets.

Finnair stated that the customers should ensure that they are providing their current mobile phone numbers while booking their seats. The airline said that during extraordinary circumstances the customers are sent information via text messages.
 
The automatic check-in service can be availed by the passengers when booking Finnair flights to select European destinations from Helsinki and other airports in Finland.
