Spectacular "Garden Lights, Holiday Nights" light show in Atlanta
Want to see a spectacular never seen before light show in the United States? Then book cheap flights to Atlanta and visit the city in November this year. Get set to be dazzled by the stunning “Garden Lights, Holiday Nights” light show that will just take your breath away. This incredible light show is returning to the Atlanta Botanical Garden for the third time now. The show will be held from November 16, 2013 through January 4, 2014. This daily show being presented by the Atlanta Botanical Garden would be held daily from 5 pm to 10 pm.
Be ready to see nearly 1.5 million lights, mostly energy-efficient LEDs, creating dazzling displays in the 30-acre Atlanta Botanical Garden. The displays would be both indoor and outdoor. This year there will be many new features on display, including those from the summer exhibition “Imaginary Worlds: Plants Larger Than Life”.
Earth Goddess, the reigning grand dame of the exhibit’s giant topiary-like sculptures, would be seen making a quick costume change to eventually become the light show’s Ice Queen. It simply presents an awe-inspiring sight with the twinkling lights weaving through her 25-foot-long tresses, and her face glowing with wintry radiance and icy sparkle, nestled beside the Cascades Garden waterfalls. Another bewitching spectacle is a pair of majestic 15-foot-tall snakes from “Imaginary Worlds” wearing red and white stripes.
The diversity of lights and environment will just overwhelm you as you meander through the 30 acres of twinkling gardens seeking opportunities to enjoy hot buttered rum, apple cider, and more.
