Berlin to organize Short Film Festival in November
Berlin is the capital city of Germany and an important seat of international tourism. The city is a popular tourist destination and a place that encourages cultural activities. Berlin is set to host Short Film Festival between 12 and 17 November, 2013. The festival is popular with fans all over the world and many flock to the city to witness the event. The festival will showcase about 500 short films across all segments. The festival has been an annual affair from 1982. It has since garnered popularity amongst its participants and critics alike. This festival is the second oldest short film festival in Berlin.
Films will be screened all over Berlin during these six days in November. This event allows participants to submit their entries with duration of not more than 30 minutes. The organizers receive about 5,000 odd entries of which only 400 make it to the final stage.
Films are divided on the basis of their categories including German, animation, documentary and children’s films. There is also special segment dedicated to music videos, commercials, experimental films, historical films and retrospectives. Audiences can have an enthralling time and enjoy the best of world through these presentations.
