Cabo San Lucas to celebrate November with great fun

Festival - Dia de Los Muertos (Day of the Dead Festival)
This festival will be celebrated on November 1, 2013. The day is important to every Mexican and the whole country celebrates with a holiday. This festival honors Mexico’s heroes. It is famous as it blends the pre-Columbian beliefs and modern Catholicism. It is particularly significant to the city. On this day, families pay respect to the dead. The locals decorate the altars with photos, candles and offer food. The decked altars are then displayed at the city’s main square, the Plaza Amelia Wilkes, and the best one is awarded.
Fishing - Los Cabos Tuna Jackpot
This event is scheduled between November 6 and November 9, 2013. As many as 100 boats and 400 anglers participate in the thrilling event. This annual affair is actually a competition between men and animals. The men are pitted against tuna, wahoo and dolphins. The winners are awarded both cash and prize.
