Hainan Airlines shifts hub to Abu Dhabi from Dubai
Hainan Airlines recently announced it has shifted its flight operations in the Middle East to Abu Dhabi from Dubai.
Hainan Airlines flights are being currently operated twice weekly to Luanda from Beijing via Etihad Airways’ hub in Abu Dhabi.
The airline in a statement said that the new services have been scheduled aiming at providing seamless connectivity to the passengers traveling from Beijing to Berlin and London Heathrow.
Apart from this, the passengers would also be able to conveniently connect to Beijing on the return from Casablanca, Maldives and Cairo.
In recent times Hainan Airlines has become the second airline partner from the Asia Pacific region to shift its operations in the Middle East to Abu Dhabi.
Indonesia’s national flag carrier Garuda Indonesia also shifted its hub to Abu Dhabi from Dubai in December this year.
Last year, Etihad Airways signed its first ever codeshare agreement with a Chinese carrier Hainan Airlines marking a new phase of cooperation between the two carriers.
