Jet Airways launches direct Delhi-Dammam flight

India’s leading private carrier Jet Airways recently announced the launch of its direct flights between Delhi and Dammam in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

Jet Airways flights will be providing direct connections between the two cities four times every week. The inaugural flight took off to Dammam on March 17, 2012. The airline is operating Delhi-Damman route with the help of Boeing 737 aircraft.

The airline in a statement said that Dammam is the third connection for Jet Airways from India. The airline is already operating flight services from Mumbai and Thiruvananthapuram.

Jet Airways disclosed that the new Delhi-Dammam service will be operated four days per week, on Sundays, Mondays, Wednesdays and Saturdays. The service will also provide onward connections to/from Kathmandu and Dhaka as well as to some leading destinations on the domestic network through New Delhi’s Indira Gandhi International Airport.

Jet Airways has emerged as one of the leading carriers on the Indo-Gulf sector. The introduction of flights to Dammam will further strengthen the airline’s presence in the Gulf.
