Jet Airways to add second daily flight between Mumbai-Singapore

Jet Airways recently announced its plans to launch a second nonstop flight to Singapore. The second largest airline of India had decided to expand its international network and hence add another service between Mumbai and Singapore.

The new service is set for November 1, 2013 launch. The premier airline will offer its customers an opportunity to travel on Jet Airways flights to Singapore from the Indian financial capital on twice-daily basis. The carrier will use the services of the modern Boeing 737-800 aircrafts to operate this route.

This plane is equipped with Sky Interiors, the airlines contemporary offering. It comprises seating capacity across Premier Economy and Economy classes. The customers will however, benefit from the airlines award-winning in-flight entertainment program and excellent onboard services.

The second nonstop flight will provide the customers a chance to travel to the thriving South Asian city during the day. It already operates a nighttime flight to Singapore. With the new launch, it will become the only Indian carrier to serve Singapore with six daily direct flights from Mumbai, Delhi, and Chennai.

As per the schedule, the new flight will depart Mumbai at 0950 hours and arrive in Singapore at 1800 hour, local time. The return flight is set to depart Singapore at 2005 hours, local time and arrive in Mumbai at 2310, local time.

The airline will soon become the only commercial carrier in the country to offer twice-daily flights to Singapore from each of its metros viz. Delhi, Chennai, and Mumbai.
