KLM Royal Dutch Airlines sponsoring 2013 Amsterdam Celebrations

KLM Royal Dutch Airlines recently announced that it would be sponsoring the Amsterdam Celebrations in 2013. The airline would be the main sponsor of the celebrations.

The airline in a statement said that the Amsterdam celebrations in 2013 would be unique in several ways and would offer great opportunity to tourists from across the world to book KLM Royal Dutch Airlines flights and participate in the celebrations.

The famous Amsterdam’s Canals would be celebrating their 400 years in 2013. Apart from this, the Royal Concertgebouw Orchestra would be celebrating its 125 years, while the Van Gogh Museum would be celebrating its 40 years. The travelers from around the world purchasing KLM Royal Dutch Airlines flights tickets and attending the celebrations would also get opportunity to witness the opening of the Rijksmuseum.

Peter Hartman, President and CEO of KLM Royal Dutch Airlines, said that the airline connects Amsterdam through Schiphol Airport with the rest of the world. The airline carries 29 million passengers from around the world every year. He also said that 9 million people visit Amsterdam annually.
