LOT Polish Airlines to introduce minimum connection times at Chopin Airport
Jan 03, 2012
LOT Polish Airlines recently announced that it is all set to introduce minimum connection times at Warsaw’s Chopin Airport. The airline has already presented its plans to International Air Transport Association (IATA) in mid-December. The airline revealed that changes in its schedule are due to be implemented in time for the 2012 peak season.
The current schedule of the airline is not convenient for the passengers now for connections to the regional airports in Poland. However, the new plans of minimum connection times are aimed to allow the airline’s passengers more rapid transfers to their onward flight at Warsaw’s Chopin airport.
The new plans will significantly increase the number of flights operated by LOT Polish Airlines, thus providing passengers greater access to the extensive network of the airline.
Currently, around 10 percent of them are transfer passengers at Warsaw airport.
