Qantas Club lounge at Perth Airport being expanded

Passengers booking Qantas Airways flights tickets for their travel from Perth Airport will now be able to get a new experience when they arrive at the lounge to board their flights.

The airline recently announced it will be expanding the size of its existing Qantas Club lounge at Perth Airport. The airline stated that almost one-third more space would be added by building a new level below the existing lounge, in Terminal 4 between gates 13 and 14.

The work on the extension has now started and is scheduled to be completed by February 2013. The new space would be in an area of 400 square meter and will accommodate 140 more travelers. There would be additional work areas, bar and meals space as well.

Qantas Airways disclosed that it is all set to launch a long-term review of its lounges at Perth Airport as it is now making preparations to shift most of its flight operations to Terminal 3.
