New interline agreement between South African Airways and Porter Airlines
South Africa’s national flag carrier South African Airways recently announced it has entered into a new interline agreement with Canada-based Porter Airlines.
The airline in a statement said that the new interline agreement will allow customers booking South African Airways flights tickets or by Porter Airlines to conveniently connect between Canada and West and Southern Africa.
According to the airline, the new interline agreement has significantly opened up connection opportunities for the passengers of both the carriers through South African Airways’ hub at Johannesburg via Washington, D.C. (Dulles) and Porter Airline’s hub at Billy Bishop Toronto City Airport.
The new interline agreement has already taken effect and the customers can now book air tickets for travel through the two carriers.
The agreement will allow South African Airways’ customers to access the interline routing for Moncton, Halifax, St. John’s, Windsor, Sudbury, Sault Ste. Marie, Timmins, Thunder Bay, Ottawa, Quebec City and Montreal within Porter Airline’s network.
