Turkish Airlines Announces Direct Flights to Montreal

Turkish Airlines national carrier of Turkey recently announced the launch of its new direct service between Istanbul and Montreal. The new service commenced from June 3, 2014.

Giving further details the airlines said that this will be a yearly service that will connect its hub at Atatürk International Airport with Montréal-Trudeau International Airport. This will be a direct service connecting both the cities three times a week. Flights between the city pair will operate on every Tuesdays, Fridays and Sundays and will be operated using the service of Airbus A330-300.

James Cherry, CEO and president of Aéroports de Montréal said the people of Montreal are extremely delighted and excited with the launch of a yearly direct service from Istanbul. We are happy that Turkish Airlines has decided to offer its service here. The airline not only has an extensive air route but is also a great favorite amongst travelers. Passengers will now be able to connect to 106 countries covering 257 destinations using its network.

Apart from Turkish Airlines Copa Airlines, national carrier of Panama and Qatar Airways national carrier of Qatar have also launched flights to Montreal. Both the airlines are offering non-stop flights to Montreal.

Copa Airlines has launched its very first direct service between Panama and Montreal. With this it is offering the only direct service between Latin America and Montreal. It will be operated four times a week on every Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Fridays and Sundays. Qatar Airways has also launched direct flights between Doha and Montreal. This will be a daily service.

With three carriers introducing direct flights to Montreal, Canadian passengers will get best of air connectivity both nationally and internationally.
