A look at Lufthansa's business lounge at Munich Airport

Munich Airport is a major airport in Germany situated 28 km away to the northeast of Munich. It is a secondary hub of Germany’s flagship carrier Lufthansa as well as partner airlines of Star Alliance. It is also the second busiest airport in the country after Frankfurt. Most airlines operated flights from the older Terminal 1, which became operational in 1992. However, a new Terminal 2 was built in 2003 and airlines started conducting operations. The Senator as well as Business Class lounges operated by Lufthansa are situated in Terminal 2. The other lounges are located in Terminal 1. These include the lounges operated by Emirates Airline, British Airways and Air France, as well as Atlantic Lounge and Europe Lounge.

Lufthansa’s Senator Lounge and Business Class Lounge are open daily from 5.15 am till 10.15 pm. The access for Business Lounge is available for passengers traveling on various airlines including Lufthansa, Qatar Airways, Air Malta, Aegean Airlines, US Airways, United Airlines, Air Canada, and all Star Alliance members.

Among various amenities and facilities provided at the Business Lounge include shower rooms, restrooms, Wi-Fi service, food and drinks, magazines and newspapers, TV screens, workstations equipped with internet, photocopy machine, phone and fax. The lounge is a non-smoking area.
