Air France adds another A380 super jumbo service to Shanghai

Air France recently added another Airbus A380 service to Shanghai. With the launch of the super jumbo, the airline has achieved the milestone of becoming the first European airline to offer double-decker service to the Asian city.

A380 is a modern aircraft from Airbus. Many airlines are gradually adding the double-decker airline to their fleet.

As per the schedule, the new flight will depart Paris Charles de Gaulle Airport every Monday, Thursday, and Friday at 2320 hours and arrive in Shanghai at 1620 hours the next day. The return flights will depart Pudong Airport Shanghai every Tuesday, Friday, and Saturday at 2320 hours and arrive in Paris at 0535 hours the next day. The airline will increase the number of A380s on the route from three to four beginning October 28.

The airline’s new business class flights to Shanghai gives Chinese passengers one more opportunity to travel to Europe. By arriving early morning in Paris, they can align their day and those traveling further can prepare for next departures. Paris and Shanghai are two prominent world cities known for fashion and business. These two cities are frequented by business as well as leisure travelers.

The airline has a seating capacity across four classes and can accommodate 80 passengers in the business class. The passengers can enjoy the benefits of optimal comforts in business class seats. The airline has taken care for the Chinese passengers and included Mandarin-speaking ground staff.
