American Airlines offers 22 First Class seats on new Seattle-Miami flights June 14

American Airlines recently announced it will launch new flights between Seattle-Tacoma International Airport and Miami International Airport starting from June 14, 2012.

The airline in a statement said that it will deploy a Boeing 757-200 aircraft, offering 22 First Class seats and 166 Main Cabin seats, to operate flights on the new Seattle-Miami route. The flight will be operated during the night.

Chuck Schubert, American Airline's Vice President – Network Planning, said that the airline is excited to launch the new route keeping in view the convenience of its passengers in Seattle-Tacoma and Miami.

He further said that the flights to be operated during the night will allow easy connections for passengers bound for Latin America, the Caribbean as well as Bahamas. Besides, it will also offer passengers from Miami easy access to the Pacific Northwest. 

Currently, American Airlines is upgrading its 101 Boeing 757s fleet to enhance customer experience. The enhancements will see First Class receiving two additional seats, from existing 22 to 24 on each aircraft. The upgrade is expected to be completed by December 2015.

Seattle to Miami

Flight 1085 – Departure: 9.25 pm – Arrival: 6.25 am (next day)

Miami to Seattle

Flight 1087 – Departure: 8.25 pm – Arrival: 11.45 pm
