Cathay Pacific Airways recently announced the debut of its business class flights to Perth, Melbourne and Adelaide from Hong Kong.
The airline started operating business flights from Melbourne and Adelaide to Hong Kong starting August 2, 2013. The airline began offering upgraded service on Hong Kong-Perth route effective August 3, 2012.
Cathay Pacific Airways also disclosed that it will be introducing new business class seats on Brisbane route starting from October 1, 2012.
According to the airline, the installation of new business class seats is a welcome change as the older cubicle-style business class cabins have been replaced on new flights from Melbourne, Perth and Adelaide.
The airline further stated that it will be fitting each of the new and overhauled aircraft with new premium economy seats. The airline said that many of the major routes will see the installation of premium economy seats.
The airline has indicated that nearly three-quarter of all flights being operated on domestic routes in Australia will have new seats daily by December 2012.
