China Airlines Taipei-Sanya flight services launched

China Airlines, Taiwan’s largest carrier, recently launched its direct flights to Sanya from Taipei. Sanya City is an important transportation and trade hub in Hainan Province in southern China, and is also called “Hawaii of the East”.

China Airlines is the first Taiwanese carrier to begin flight services to Sanya. The airline said that two flights will be operating out of northern Taiwan’s Taoyuan International Airport every week on Tuesdays and Saturdays.

To mark the start of the flight services, China Airlines is offering roundtrip air tickets at US$336.60 for a 14-day travel. The airline will deploy Boeing 737-800 aircraft configured with 150 seats in Economy Class and 8 Business Class seats on Taipei-Sanya route.
