Delta SkyMiles members flying business class to get 100,000 bonus miles

Delta Air Lines recently unveiled a promotion to award bonus miles to its frequent flyer program members taking business class flights to London Heathrow.

The announcement has come only few weeks after American Airlines revealed the details of its transatlantic bonus being awarded to AAdvantage frequent flyer program members in premium fare classes.

Delta Air Lines in a statement said that Delta SkyMiles members traveling on business class (BusinessElite) between the United States and London Heathrow through January 31, 2013 will be able to receive 100,000 bonus miles.

The airline stated that this offer can be also availed by Delta SkyMiles members booking full-fare economy class flights between London Heathrow and the U.S.

Delta SkyMiles members will be able to earn 15,000 bonus miles on their first eligible round-trip flight. For those booking their second round-trip flight will be able to earn 35,000 bonus miles, while the members will be able to earn 50,000 bonus miles for their third and subsequent round-trip flights in BusinessElite or premium economy class.
