Easyjet launching London-Paris route from March next year
European low-cost carrier Easyjet has announced it will be launching a new route between London and Parish starting next year. The airline stated that twice daily flights between London’s Gatwick Airport and Paris’ Charles de Gaulle International Airport would be launched from March 2014.
Easy jet said that the customers will now be able to purchase plane tickets, which are up for sale now. Providing details about the schedule, the airline said that the twice daily flights would depart from London’s Gatwick Airport at 1445 and 1700 and would arrive at Paris’ Charles de Gaulle International Airport at 1700 and 2020 respectively. According to the airline, the return flight from Paris CDG would be at 0710 and 1745, and arrive at London Gatwick at 0720 and 1755 respectively. The airline is offering return fares starting at $120 (74.25 GBP).
The news has been particularly welcomed by travelers residing to the south of London. The travelers from this area were facing difficulties for quite some time now and were often complaining that accessing the services of the rival low-cost carrier Eurostar was difficult because its London terminus has been shifted from Waterloo to St. Pancras.
