Emirates Airline to become world’s first carrier to serve US with twice daily Airbus A380 flights

Emirates Airline recently announced it is on course to become world’s first airline to launch a second daily Airbus A380 service to a U.S. city.
The airline in a statement said that it will be increasing the frequency of its flights services between Dubai International Airport and New York’s John F. Kennedy International Airport (JFK) from January next year.

The airline has indicated that its second daily service utilizing Airbus A380 aircraft will begin operations on Dubai-New York JFK route starting from January 1, 2013. The airline launched its first A380 flights services to the U.S. in 2008.

Currently, Emirates Airline is operating flights services on Dubai-New York JFK route with the help of a Boeing 777-300ER aircraft. The airline will be replacing the Boeing aircraft with its ultra-modern Airbus A380 aircraft, which will offer nearly 1,000 additional seats both ways every week.

The customers booking business class flights will be offered 76 flat beds in business class cabins. The airline will also be offering 14 Private Suites in the first class. The passengers traveling on business class tickets as well as those in first class will be able to enjoy Onboard Shower Spas on their flights. The passengers in both these classes will also be enjoying the facility of a luxurious Onboard Lounge on their flights.
