Emirates introduces First Class cabins on Glasgow-Dubai route
Middle East’s leading carrier Emirates recently announced the launch of its second daily nonstop flights services between Glasgow and Dubai. The newly-launched route links Scotland with more than 115 destinations via Dubai.
The airline in a statement said that it has introduced First Class cabins for the first time on Glasgow-Dubai route on both the new evening and existing daytime flights.
The airline will be operating the new flight with the help of a three-class Airbus A340-300 aircraft configured with three classes – 12 seats in First Class, 42 Business Class seats and 213 seats in Economy Class.
Emirates further stated that it has upgraded the existing daytime flight to a three-class Boeing 777-300ER with 8 private suites in First Class, 42 lie-flat beds in Business Class and 310 seats in Economy Class.
Laurie Berryman, Emirates’ Vice President UK, said that the Glasgow route has proven to be a real success story for the airline. Berryman said that the launch of second daily flights services between Glasgow and Dubai and the introduction of a First Class cabin have demonstrated the seriousness and ongoing commitment of the airline to Scotland and the passengers it has been serving.
