EVA Air wins award for its Royal Laurel Class business cabin
Taiwan’s leading carrier EVA Air recently announced it has been declared winner in the business class category and for its advertising/marketing campaigns.
The airline’s brand-new Royal Laurel Class business cabin has won the 2012 Gold Magellan Award in the business class category for international carriers. The innovative Hello Kitty Jet program was also given the 2012 Silver Magellan Award for advertising/marketing campaigns.
The two awards were given to EVA Air by the prestigious ‘Travel Weekly’ during its annual award function to recognize the best in travel.
The entries titled ‘Royal Treatment in Flight’ and ‘EVA Makes Flying Fun’ during advertising/marketing campaigns of the airline was adjudged among the second best by a panel of renowned travel industry professionals.
The airline’s luxurious Royal Laurel Class cabins started being rolled out on EVA Air’s business class flights on New York route in June this year. The airline also indicated that the Royal Laurel Class business cabin would also be introduced on Los Angeles route in November this year.
EVA Air further stated that the Royal Laurel Class business cabin will also be introduced on various other international routes, including San Francisco, Paris, Toronto, London and Amsterdam by August 2013.
