Passengers booking plane tickets on Aer Lingus for travel during the winter season have all the reason to be happy now. Aer Lingus has recently announced its extended winter schedule for 2013 to cope up with the increasing demand.
Aer Lingus has also announced it will be launching two new routes and will be increasing frequencies on 12 other routes as well. The airline’s winter schedule begins October end and runs through to the end of March 2013.
Aer Lingus said that flights from Dublin to Toulouse will for the first time continue through the winter, thus offering access to ski resorts in the Pyrenees. The airline further stated that the flights to Lanzarote from Shannon would start from October 26 and continue through to the end of March. The seasonal flights on Shannon-Lanzarote route would offer the customers in the mid-West a perfect winter sun getaway.
According to the airline, the frequencies to be increased on 12 popular routes include Lisbon, Malaga, Lyon, Paris, Geneva and Hamburg. This is being done to meet the ever increasing demand from the travelers.
