Fly business class on Bangkok-Colombo route with THAI Smile

Reaching Bangkok from most countries across the world is much easier now. THAI Smile, a new subsidiary of Thai Airways International Public Co. Ltd., recently launched direct flights between Bangkok and Colombo. The flight between the two destinations became operational from August 20 this year. The newly-launched airline will be initially operating four weekly flights on Bangkok-Colombo route, and will be increasing to daily flights a week starting from December 1 this year. THAI Smile will be operating the flights on this route with the help of its brand new Airbus A320 aircraft fleet, configured with two classes – ‘Smile’ and ‘Smile Plus’. The ‘Smile’ service will be offered to Economy Class passengers.
 
Those booking business class flights to Bangkok would be offered ‘Smile Plus’ service. This will be essentially a short haul service featuring 16 seats on international flights and 12 seats on domestic flights. The passengers in ‘Smile Plus’ will experience privacy, comfort, and will also have access to business class lounge as well. The passengers traveling in this class would be entitled to a baggage allowance of 30 kg. The ‘Smile Plus’ flyers will also be offered complimentary in-flight meals and refreshments.
