Garuda Indonesia unveils premium check-in area at Jakarta airport for business class passengers
Indonesia’s national flag carrier Garuda Indonesia recently unveiled a premium check-in area for its customers booking business class flights. The premium check-in area was opened at Jakarta’s Soekamo-Hatta International Airport in Cengkareng.
The airline’s premium check-in area at Jakarta airport can now be used by Garuda Indonesia’s Executive Class (Business Class) passengers as well as Garuda Frequent Flyer (GFF) Platinum members.
The priority check-in area will allow the airline’s customers to fulfill travel-related functions. This includes check-in, making another reservation, paying airport taxes, check-in, re-routing the flights at the newly-opened exclusive check-in counters or purchasing new tickets.
According to the airline, a Personal Service Assistant (PSA) would be provided to GFF Platinum cardholders. The PSA will help the customers with their check-in process while they relax in the designated waiting area.
Skytrax, a London-based global airline ranking and review consultancy, recently named Garuda Indonesia the ‘World’s Best Regional Airline’. A research company Roy Morgan also named Garuda Indonesia ‘Best International Airline’ in its Customer Satisfaction Awards for the third time.
