Gulf Air signs codeshare agreements with German and French railways to offer seamless travel
Passengers booking air tickets and taking Gulf Air flights to Germany and France will now be able to have a hassle free journey.
Leading Middle East carrier Gulf Air has signed codeshare agreements with the railways in Germany and France. The airline recently signed agreements with French railway SNCF as well as Germany’s airport railway QYG.
The agreements with the railways of these two countries will significantly ease travel woes of passengers taking Gulf Air flights to Frankfurt and Paris. This will help passengers enjoy seamless and convenient travel to and from 19 cities across France and 13 cities throughout Germany.
The passengers will only have to purchase a combined GulfAir/TGV ticket, which will permit them to board Gulf Air flights to Paris’ Charles de Gaulle airport and Frankfurt International Airport and travel to and from any of the 19 French cities and 13 German destinations on the vast railways network.
Beginning July 1, Gulf Air has upgraded the aircraft to an Airbus A320 ER instead of the earlier Airbus A330 on Frankfurt and Paris routes.
