Hawaiian Airlines to add capacity on Seattle-Hawaii route
Hawaiian Airlines, one of biggest airlines operating out of its base in Honolulu announced its plans to add capacity on Seattle-Hawaii route. The airline is set to deploy the bigger Airbus A330-200 aircraft to fly between the two cities. This plane will help the airline add 60 seats on a daily basis between the city pair. At present, its Boeing 767-300ER aircraft operates the service that comprises seating for 264 passengers.
Passengers can now book airline tickets with the carrier on a bigger Airbus aircraft to fly to their destinations. The A330-200 plane is equipped with a seating capacity for 294 passengers. This new plane will commence service from December 8, 2013. Passengers onboard this flight will be able to entertain themselves with the enhanced in-flight entertainment system through the journey. It also promises better legroom to its passengers.
The airline operates service between Seattle Tacoma International Airport and Honolulu International Airport. The airline believes that passenger demand to Honolulu has witnessed a robust growth in the past. It is committed to serve the people of this popular holiday destination and hence has decided to add capacity to its flights.
