Japan Airlines adding First Class to its Haneda, Okinawa domestic flights

Japan Airlines recently announced it is adding First Class to some of its domestic routes. The airline stated that First Class service will be added on a portion of its daily domestic flights to Haneda and Okinawa from Tokyo starting from August 1, 2012.

The airline in a statement said that reservations and sales for its first class flights have already begun from today.

Currently, Japan Airlines is offering first class service on some of its domestic routes, such as between Haneda and Sapporo as well as Fukuoka and Osaka.

The airline disclosed that of the 17 daily flights between Haneda and Fukuoka, Japan Airlines will be increasing the number of flights fitted with First Class from 7 to 13, starting July 1, 2012.

Apart from this, the airline is also planning to add more first class flights on the Haneda-Sapporo route from the second half of this year.
The first class passengers will be offered priority check-in, boarding and baggage handling, as well as access to the Diamond Premier Lounge.
