JetBlue Airways to launch flights on Boston-Savannah route in Feb
JetBlue Airways has announced it will start offering flights services between Boston and Savannah from February next year. Savannah would be the airline’s 50th nonstop destination for customers in Boston. The airline would launch flights on Boston-Savannah/Hilton Head route starting from February 13, 2014. To mark the launch of its new route, the customers were provided opportunity to book cheap flights at incredibly low fares starting at $89* one-way. The offer is valid for travel until April 10, 2014.
JetBlue Airways is currently the largest airline operating out of its main hub at Boston Logan Airport. The airline is presently offering up to 121 daily flights from Boston Logan. Boston Mayor Thomas M. Menino, who was present at the route launch ceremony, said that both JetBlue Airways and Boston continue to grow together. He said that it’s a matter of great delight that the airline would now be operating nonstop flights to its 50th destination.
Scott Laurence, JetBlue Airway’s Vice President of Network Planning, while speaking on the occasion said that Savannah/Hilton Head is an easy weekend getaway or vacation destination for residents of Boston and neighboring areas. The tickets are also rightly priced. This would provide opportunities to the customers to get off to Savannah more often.
* The fare is one-way, and inclusive of government taxes, airport fees and fuel surcharges. Other terms and conditions are applicable.
