July-August the Best Time for Discounted Vacations

Agreed that summers are not truly cut-out for merry making vacations and the heat might catch you unawares, summers are nevertheless the time to book some really discounted vacation deals. Summers are also the ideal time to book golf resort vacations or island getaways; given the off season and various deals available across the travel sites.

If you don’t want to bear the heat and brave it out, try Vail, Colorado for a fun filled summer retreat. Once here, you can try rafting, hiking, biking and golf activities. The rooms would come cheap as well during summers. A room would only cost $140 per night in August, compared to $400 in winters.

Another summer destination for off-season vacations could be Caribbean, which is most often than not highly discounted during the summers.

During this time, the resorts and hotels offer special add-ons as well; such as spa credits, gift cards that can be redeemed for drinks and food. You can also try out the boutique hotel options that will offer further discounts and savings.

For higher luxuries, you can try booking properties which have different luxury levels. What it means is that you stay in a premium room whereas have access to common luxuries, such as at Atlantic in Bahamas.

Keep in mind that summer vacations do come with their share of mood-spoilers. So, DO factor the possibility of thunder storms and the likes. Barring this, booking vacations in July-August would indeed be the best time for discounted vacation deals.
