Korean Air starts providing amenity kits to expectant moms
Expectant moms booking plane tickets for travel on Korean Air flights are now greatly relieved. South Korea’s national airline Korean Air has now started providing amenity kits to pregnant passengers starting from October this year. The kit consists of various essentials that might be required by expectant moms onboard their flights. The amenity kit contains organic cream, organic foot cream, relaxing tea, socks for when passengers are sleeping, and a maternity tag.
According to Korean Air, the cute maternity tags would let the other passengers know that they are traveling with a mom-to-be. The airline said that the skincare products and socks are made of organic materials so that pregnant passengers are comfortable and feel safe when using them. These products are quite useful for pregnant passengers whose feet might become swollen and uncomfortable due to dry atmosphere, and the change in air pressure during flights.
Korean Air would be providing the amenity kits on all its international flights departing from South Korea. The kits will be handed by flight attendants so that detailed services can be provided to those who are in the early stages of pregnancy.
