Korean Air unveils new in-flight meal for first class flights to U.S. and Europe

Korean Air recently unveiled its new in-flight meal for customers booking first class flights to the United States and Europe.
 
The airline will also be providing the new in-flight meal to its customers traveling in business class (Prestige Class) on long-haul flights to Europe and U.S. next month.

The new in-flight meal, which was recently unveiled at the Hyatt Regency Incheon, comprises of “dongchimi guksoo” and “yeongyangbap”. According to the airline, “dongchimi guksoo” is a cold noodle soup with radish water kimchi, while “yeongyangbap” is a meal of steamed grains and rice.

Cho Hyun-ah, Executive Director of Korean Air, who is also the oldest daughter of Cho Yang-ho, Chairman of the carrier’s parent Hanjin Group, said that she will make every effort to publicize the taste and beauty of Korean food globally.

She said that efforts are on to develop new menu items and spread the popularity of Korean food all over the world.
