New Cathay Pacific Signature Chinese Dishes introduced on Premium Economy, other classes

Cathay Pacific Airways recently announced the revamp of its in-flight menus. The airline has now introduced its new ‘Cathay Pacific Signature Chinese Dishes’ on board its flights on various international routes.

Passengers booking premium economy flights as well as those on Business Class and Economy Class will be served the new dishes on select flights to long-haul destinations from Hong Kong. The new dishes will also feature Hong Kong specialties and traditional tastes.

The airline in a statement said that dishes have been specially created by culinary experts using authentic Chinese recipes.

The airline stated that six selected dishes would be served from August to October this year. Passengers booking premium economy tickets or those traveling in Business Class would be able to enjoy slow cooked pork belly with preserved Hakka mustard greens, Hong Kong-style curry prawns, and wok-fried chicken with black bean.

For those traveling in Economy Class, the airline would be serving and braised fish with ginger, spring onion, mushroom and steamed jasmine rice. The featured dishes to be served in Economy Class include braised minced pork with eggplant in mild chilli sauce on steamed jasmine rice, and braised beef with tendon chu hou sauce on steamed jasmine rice.
