New codeshare agreement signed between US Airways and Croatia Airlines

Passengers taking US Airways flights will now be able to travel to various destinations in Croatia as well with the expanded services now.

US Airways recently announced it has entered into a codeshare agreement with Croatia Airlines allowing passengers to book air tickets on either of the airline only once and travel to their respective destinations using each other’s flight network.

The new bilateral codeshare agreement was announced by the two airlines after getting approval from the U.S. Department of Transportation and Croatian Civil Aviation Agency.

The codeshare agreement will allow passengers booking US Airways flights tickets to enjoy convenient connections to various cities in Croatia on a single-ticket purchase. Similarly, passengers taking Croatia Airlines flights will also be able to have seamless access to several destinations within the United States.

According to US Airways, its customers from Amsterdam, Zurich, Frankfurt, Munich, London and Brussels will get opportunity to travel to Zagreb on Croatia Airlines. Similarly, passengers taking Croatia Airlines flights from Zagreb will be able to connect to Philadelphia and Charlotte, the East Coast hubs of US Airways. Apart from this, Croatia Airlines will also be able to place its flight code on US Airways flights to St. Louis, Detroit and Cleveland from Philadelphia.
