New Star Alliance business class lounge opens at Los Angeles
Business travelers flying in and out of the Los Angeles International Airport (LAX) have a surprise in the waiting. Travelers booking flights on one of the Star Alliance members can now access the new lounge that opened at the airport recently.
Passengers booking business class flights with Air New Zealand can now benefit from the numerous amenities offered at this lounge. In fact, Air New Zealand has been appointed as the manager for this lounge at the Tom Bradley International Terminal.
Star Alliance gold passengers can use the spacious 400-seater lounge to relax and unwind during travel. The sprawling 18,000 square foot of space has been designed by renowned architectural firm Gensler. The open-air terrace offers breathtaking view of the nearby runway, while the outdoor terrace is thronged by smokers.
Many believe that this lounge is one amongst the most beautiful offerings from the alliance. A lot of changes have been incorporated based on the feedback of the guests. Passengers traveling on one of the Star Alliance airlines can access this lounge between 09:15 am and 00:30 am.
Some of the facilities offered include 42 seats for first class passengers, 387 seats for business travelers, outdoor terrace and bar, an assortment of seating options, access to unlimited Wi-Fi, wireless printing and local calls, delectable selection of hot and cold food and drinks, diverse range of California wines, complimentary bar, and showers and restrooms.
Travelers can also update themselves with the flight information displays at the lounge. There is also a baggage storage area. Travelers interested in news can access the Media room that gives them an option to view different international news and sports channels.
