Pleasant experience at Silver Kris Lounge at Changi Airport

It’s a great pleasure visiting the Singapore Airlines-operated SilverKris Lounge at the Changi International Airport. The SilverKris Lounge is the primary business class lounge operated by Singapore Airlines for its premium travelers. The airline also operates a separate lounge for members holding Star Alliance Gold cards.

Changi International Airport currently has three terminals. Singapore Airlines conducts its flight operations from Terminal 2 and Terminal 3. The airline therefore has separate Silver Kris lounge on both these terminals. The SilverKris Lounge is open for Singapore Airlines business class passengers and PPS Club members. It can also be accessed by passengers traveling on partner airlines of Star Alliance.

The SilverKris Lounge has been designed on the unique ‘home’ concept. The lounge gives the travelers a feeling of ‘home away from home’. The spaces within the lounge have been modeled after living rooms, kitchens and dining rooms, in the same manner as they are found in a home. Selected art pieces have been used to tastefully decorate the areas. The lounge is equipped will all the amenities that a traveler might be looking for such as comfortable armchairs for relaxation, restrooms, shower rooms, individual workstations with internet access, free Wi-Fi service and more.

The best part at the Silver Kris Lounge is the wide range of foods that are offered to the passengers here. Here you can treat yourself to Singaporean classic dishes such as carrot cake, chicken rice and fried noodles. A wide variety of Indian curries, Chinese stir-fried dishes, pastas, western cuisines, vegetarian dishes, sushis, cured meats and smoked salmon are available. You can also taste some good desserts as well such as longan in syrup and sea coconut. In fact, the food offered at the Silver Kris Lounge is at par with some hotel buffets.
