SAA offers nonstop flights between New York and Johannesburg

South Africa Airways recently announced a round trip nonstop service between New York and Johannesburg, South Africa. The new service will commence from 1st May 2011. Now, Dakar would not be figuring in the stopover list thus reducing the journey time by 90 minutes.

The new service would also connect South Africa Airways to around 40 destinations in Africa. With this the airline would be able to offer business and leisure travelers’ a convenient flight journey. On the same day the other new connections would be offered from Johannesburg to other African cities in East Africa, Sub-Saharan Africa and the African Islands in the Indian Ocean.

The airline also provides convenient connections to and from New York on SAA flights through the codeshare flights with its Star Alliance partners from 60 cities throughout U.S. and Caribbean. The Star Alliance partners include the United Airlines and interline partners, JetBlue Airways and Virgin America.
