Scandinavian Airlines launches Copenhagen-Humberside flights
Scandinavian Airlines recently launched its new flights services between Copenhagen and Humberside. The launch of the new service provided yet another option for travelers from Copenhagen to book plane tickets and travel to a new destination. The inaugural flight to Humberside took off from Copenhagen on October 28, 2013. The airline will be offering five times weekly service between the two destinations.
According to Scandinavian Airlines, the year-round direct flights on Copenhagen-Humberside route would operate on Mondays, Wednesdays, Thursdays, Fridays and Sundays. The weekday flights would depart from Copenhagen at 1810 and arrive in Humberside at 1845. The return flight would depart from Humberside at 1915 and arrive in Copenhagen at 2150. The Sunday flights would depart from Copenhagen at 1350 and from Humberside at 1455. The airline will operate the flight on this route with the help of a 50-seater CRJ200 aircraft.
Hans Dyhrfort, Scandinavian Airlines’ Regional General Manager Western Europe, said that the airline has accomplished a major milestone with the launch of the new service. He said that the airline would start offering the only nonstop, direct service to Scandinavia from the Humber, Lincolnshire and Yorkshire region.
