Shanghai gets twice-daily flights from Vancouver, 4D mini-cinemas

Shanghai, the largest city in the People’s Republic of China is a global city. Flocked by people for business and holiday the city with its sophisticated stature carries an international influence in commerce, finance, media, culture, technology, transport and fashion. The aura is stunningly business centric partly because it is the chief financial center of the country. Besides it is credited to be the busiest container port in the world.

The city is well connected with the rest of the world including many flights from the United States and Canada. Considering the fact that Shanghai holds importance from business perspective China Eastern Airlines, that operates out of this city, recently added flights from Vancouver and Manila.

The airline will now fly twice daily between the Vancouver-Shanghai. The carrier will use the services of Airbus 330-200 aircraft that contains 30 business class seats. This move is looked upon by industry experts as a way to harden Vancouver’s place as Canada’s Asia-Pacific gateway. In a similar expansion Delta Air Lines of the U.S. added service to the business city in the month of June.

Looking at the growing significance of Shanghai, the Shanghai's Pudong International Airport is planning to construct two mini 4D cinemas at its Terminal 2. Each of these mini cinemas can accommodate ten people and is outfitted with seats that rock with the movie and spray mist. The work is expected to wrap up by the end of this year. As per the plan these cinemas will play special effect short movies of 10 minute or less duration to entertain the passengers waiting at the lounges.

The city and the world is coming around to recognize Shanghai’s international impact and that is the reason many efforts are being taken for the comfort and interests of the passengers flying on business class tickets to shanghai.
