Singapore Airlines new business class seats to debut on Boeing 777-300ER next year

Passengers booking business class tickets on Singapore Airlines will now have a luxurious flying experience from next year.

Singapore Airlines recently announced it is getting new business class seats designed. The airline is also getting new seats in its first class cabins. The airline has hired designers from BMW and James Park to design and install the new seats in both business class and first class.

The airline in a statement said that the new business class seats as well as those in the first class will debut on the Boeing 777-300ER aircrafts from next year. The new seats are also to be installed on the airline’s new Boeing 787 and Airbus A350 aircrafts.

According to the airline, acclaimed designers James Park Associates (JPA) would be designing the business class seats. The existing A380-style business class seat was also created by JPA. It may be noted that Cathay Pacific Airways had also hired the services of JPA to design business class seats.

Singapore Airlines has assured its customers that the new business class seats would provide comfort in both seating and sleeping positions. Apart from this, there would also be more stowage space to cater to the changing needs of business class fliers.
