Singapore Airlines opens its SilverKris lounge at Delhi’s Indira Gandhi International Airport

Singapore Airlines recently announced the launching of its SilverKris lounge at New Delhi’s Indira Gandhi International (IGI) airport for its premium customers. The airline currently has 13 SilverKris lounges at different airports across the world.

The airline in a statement said that its customers booking first class flights as well as those traveling in business class would be able to benefit greatly when traveling out of the Terminal 3 at New Delhi’s Indira Gandhi International Airport.

Apart from customers booking first class tickets or flying business class, the SilverKris lounge will also be available for the airline’s PPS Club, KrisFlyer Elite Gold as well as Star Alliance Gold members.

Tan Pee Teck, Singapore Airlines’ Senior Vice President (Product and Services), said that the airline chose Delhi to bring up a SilverKris lounge because it is one of the busiest markets in India.

Currently, the airline operates twice daily flights between Singapore and New Delhi. The airline revealed that it has made plans to begin more flights on Delhi and Mumbai routes from October this year.
