Spirit Airlines customers to get specifically-designed luggage to fly free

Spirit Airlines loyals: here is some news to behold!

Cheer up as Brent Hopkins, an entrepreneur, has designed a luggage specifically for Spirit Airlines customers so that they may carry their luggage for free without paying any baggage fees whatsoever. Hopkins, a Rochester Hills-based online retailer and President of CarryOn Free, is selling luggage that has been specially designed for the customers of Spirit Airlines and totally avoids baggage fees.

Last year, Spirit Airlines introduced new baggage rules in which it started charging its customers for carry-on luggage. However, the airline exempted baggage fee from the customers who travelled with smaller carry-on luggage in a 16" x 14" x 12" size that could easily fit under seat-space.

Hopkins seeing the opportunity designed the luggage exactly of the same size and offer more ways to save money on their cheap tickets. So far, such luggage with similar dimensions is not being made by any of the existing luggage makers. 

Currently, Spirit Airlines is charging between US$30 and US$45 for each carry-on.
